All NMSU students are eligible to apply for a Student Charge Account. Students can charge up to $500 in items needed for classes. All charges will be billed to your university account.
*** The Student Charge Account is intended to assist in the purchase of those items needed for the successful pursuit of studies. Gift, recreational and computer hardware/software cannot be purchased with this account. ***
THIS ACCOUNT IS VALID FROM AUGUST 10,2014 THROUGH AUGUST 30, 2014 FOR THE FALL-2014 SEMESTER. PLEASE READ ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE APPLYING.
You must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours and owe less than $100 on your student account before you can open an account.
Upon receipt of your application, your account may require 2 business days before it is activated. Your campus designation must be NMSU Main Campus, Carlsbad, Dona Ana or Alamogordo and if you are enrolled in 6 or more credit hours and owe less then $100 for prior semester charges, you will qualify for the NMSU Student Charge Account.
**YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED OF ACCEPTANCE VIA THE E-MAIL ACCOUNT SUBMITTED ON THE APPLICATION**
Your bookstore charge account will have a credit limit of $500 per semester. All in-store purchases, textbook orders or online orders must be made by the end of business on Saturday, August 30, 2014. All charge accounts will be closed at the end of business on August 30, 2014.
You must pay your account in full each semester through University Accounts Receivable, located at the Educational Services Building . An unpaid account will be subject to a registration hold and non-renewal of your bookstore charge account.
Applications can be submitted through 5:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2014.
You will be required to renew your account each semester by filling out a new application
